Utility Systems Engineering, Inc of Dayton, Ohio, is seeking an engineer to support substation design services. Candidate must have 5 years experience in electrical substation design, including wiring and control drawings, material and equipment specifications, applying the National Electrical Safety Code, testing specifications, interpreting test reports, approvals, coordination with interconnecting companies and suppliers, modifications to existing subs, development of new subs, etc. Knowledge and familiarity with AutoCad would be helpful.
Candidate must be self motivated and able to interact well with clients. Amount of travel will be at the discretion of successful candidate. USE, Inc. serves clients mainly in Ohio, Indiana and Michigan.
Seeking a Distribution Staking Engineer to support distribution design services:
Utility Systems Engineering, Inc. of Dayton, Ohio is seeking an engineer to support distribution engineering services. Working knowledge of AutoCad and application of Microsoft Office is important. Candidate must have five (5) or more years of experience in distribution engineering/staking, preferably with rural electric cooperatives. Knowledge of the Rural Utilities Service Bulletins, Specifications and Guidelines is a plus. This position will require about 30% travel as services are currently provided in the states of Ohio and Michigan, including the Michigan Upper Peninsula.
